Un des tours les plus difficiles de l'histoire avec 50 cols, des pavés, des étapes propices aux bordures...

    Le tour démarre de Paris avec un prologue de 6 km tout plat. Deuxième étape entre Compiègne et Roubaix empruntant tous les secteurs pavés de Paris-Roubaix. Troisième étape partant de Lille vers Boulogne sur mer avec un final musclé comme en 2012. Ensuite on va rejoindre les Vosges avec trois étapes plates. 7ème étape Nancy-Gérardmer la mauseleine avec notamment les cols de la bonne fontaine, de la croix des moinats, de grosse pierre, du haut bois...Le lendemain, Gérardmer-Mulhouse(même étape qu'en 2014), puis Mulhouse-La planche des belles filles(même étape qu'en 2014). 10ème étape Belfort-Porrentruy du tour 2012 suivi d'une étape dans le jura entre Besançon et la Station des rousses avec les cols de la Savine, de la croix de la Serra et deux côtes de 2ème catégories: côte du barrage de vouglans et celle de lamoura. 12ème étape vers Morzine Avoriaz avec le col du grand colombier, le col de la ramaz et l'arrivée en altitude à Avoriaz. Ensuite direction Courchevel avec le col de la colombière, le col des aravis, le col des saisies, le mont cenis et l'arrivée à Courchevel. 14ème étape Albertville-La Toussuire du tour 2012. 15ème étape saint jean de maurienne-Chamrousse avec le col du grand cucheron, le col du granier, le col du cucheron, le col de porte, et l'arrivée final à chamrousse. 16ème étape, étape de transition vers le cap d'Agde puis on reprend la montagne avec les Pyrénées. D'abord arrivée à ax 3 domaine avec le port de pailhères la précédent, puis arrivée au Tourmalet avec avant le col de portet d'aspet, ceux de menté, de portillon, de peyresourde, de val louron et d'aspin.On continue avec un chrono de 50km achevé au sommet du col d'aubisque et on termine avec l'étape des Champs-Élysées.
