Now in its second year, the Classic Var features an unprecedented start from the Circuit du Var in Le Luc-en-Provence.

After this fictitious start, the riders pass through the village of Le Luc, where they find the real start on the N7, heading for Carcès and the first intermediate sprint. After Saint-Antonin-du-Var, Entrecasteaux and Salernes, they reach the race's first feed zone. Bypassing Flayosc, they then attack the Col de la Grange climb (3rd category) before heading via Châteaudouble and Figanières to the second intermediate sprint, immediately followed by the second feed zone.

A little further on, they find another difficulty, at the Gorges du Blavet (also 3rd category), before heading via Bagnols-en-Forêt and Saint-Paul-en-Forêt to the finish in Fayence, which represents a fine raidard, with a finish at the top of a 2nd category difficulty.

2/ Sunday, February 23, 2025 - Villefranche-sur-Mer > Vence - 131.8 km

The second and final stage of the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes 2025 will start from the seaside town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. Like the first stage, it starts in the hinterland of Nice, following a largely similar route to the previous one.

It starts in the direction of Èze and its famous Col d'Èze (1st category) before continuing towards La Turbie and climbing north through Saint-Martin-de-Peille and Peille, before returning to the start of the previous day's circuit, in the opposite direction, through a feed zone and the La Pointe sprint to Contes, Châteauneuf-Villevieille and the Col de Châteauneuf (1st category), which had already been climbed the day before.

They then continue on to Tourrettes-Levens, Aspremont and Colomars, before this time climbing up to Carros and then returning on the same route as the day before to Gattières, continuing on to the Saint-Jeannet feed zone, the Souvenir Joseph ALECH in Vence and the Tourrettes-sur-Loup sprint.

A final circuit via Le Bar-sur-Loup, La Colle-sur-Loup and Saint-Paul-de-Vence then awaits the riders, before they return to the route that brought them here, in the opposite direction, to the finish in Vence.
