The classics season kicked off with the Belgian classics last weekend, and before moving on to Paris-Nice, we've got a classic that isn't really a classic on the horizon. Strade Bianche isn't a classic in terms of its age (even though it's already at its 19th edition), but it is a classic in terms of its route and the many white dirt roads that punctuate the race.
Strade Bianche 2025 takes place tomorrow, Saturday March 8, 2025, on a 213-kilometer course, featuring no fewer than 16 white dirt roads (14 to be precise, but two of them are used twice) over a distance of 81.7 kilometers (almost 40% of the total distance covered).
Below you'll find details of the Strade Bianche 2025 route, on an OpenStreetMap map but it can also be downloaded in Google Earth. You'll also find the race profile and the hourly itinerary for the Strade Bianche 2025.

Riders taking part in Strade Bianche 2025 will meet for the start in Siena, as has been the case since 2016. The route is identical to that of 2024, with one difference. On the way back to Ponte d'Arbia, the runners fork right to take dirt road #7, which adds no less than 9.3 km of white dirt road. After the start, the race heads south-west towards Siena airport, and after bypassing it, it's from Stigliano that the riders land on the first white sector, Vidritta #2 (4.4 km, at the lowest level of difficulty, subsequently expressed in stars, here one star: ⭐). Descending to the southeast, 3 more sectors then follow, Bagnaia #2 (4.8 km, ⭐⭐⭐), Radi #3 (4.4 km, ⭐⭐) and La Piana #4 (6.4 km, ⭐⭐).
At Ponte d'Arbia and Buonconvento, riders then access a first circuit to the southernmost point of the race, in Montalcino, and on the way back they then find the next two white sectors, which are among the longest and most difficult: Lucignano d'Asso #5 (11.9 km, ⭐⭐⭐⭐) and Pieve a Salti #6 (8 km, ⭐⭐⭐⭐).
This first circuit ends with the return journey northwards, turning right to pick up the new sector of Serravalle #7 (9.3 km, ⭐⭐⭐⭐), then very soon afterwards, as they make their way eastwards, sector number 8, San Martino in Grania (9.4 km, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐), the most difficult sector of the race.
A little further on comes one of the longest sectors at 11.5 km, and the most difficult also with 5 stars, Monte Sante Marie #9 (11.5 km, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐). The riders then head back in the direction of Siena, and after sector number 10 of Monteaperti (600 m, ⭐⭐), they arrive on the second and final circuit, north of Siena, which comprises two white sectors, Colle Pinzuto #11 (2.4 km, ⭐⭐⭐⭐) and Le Tolfe #12 (1.1 km, ⭐⭐⭐⭐).
Turning right to seek out the continuation of this final loop, the Strada del Castagno #13 sector (700 m, ⭐⭐⭐) already comes into view, and towards the point where this loop began, the 14th sector awaits the riders, that of Montechiaro (3.3 km, ⭐⭐).
Retracing the first part of this loop, they then pass the 11th and 12th sectors again, which become the 15th and 16th sectors, and then it's just a matter of heading for Siena, where the finish will take place at the usual location in the Piazza del Campo in front of the town hall, after a final cobbled climb and a final descent to the finish line.
