1/ Sunday March 9, 2025 - Le Perray-en-Yvelines > Le Perray-en-Yvelines - 156.1 km

Although the first stage of Paris-Nice 2025 will start and finish in Le Perray-en-Yvelines, its two loops - the first of which will be run a second time after the second - mean that the stage will still cover a distance of 156.1 kilometers.

The first loop takes riders through Saint-Léger-en-Yvelines, Montfort-l'Amaury, Boissy-sans-Avoir, Neauphle-le-Vieux, Villiers-Saint-Frédéric and its Côte de Villiers-Saint-Frédéric (3rd category, 1.2 km at 7%, max 15%), Neauphle-le-Château, Bazoches-sur-Guyonnes, Les Mesnuls and its intermediate sprint on the 2nd passage, back to Le Perray-en-Yvelines.

After crossing the finish line for the first time, they then head for Dampierre-en-Yvelines and the famous Côte des 17 tournants (3rd category, 1.1 km at 6.2%) (at least for Parisian cyclists), Chevreuse and Choisel, then, after a small deviation from the course, via Cernay-la-Ville and Auffargis back to Le Perray-en-Yvelines, this time without crossing the finish line.

The first loop is then repeated, but this time the passage over the finish line in Le Perray-en-Yvelines on the return leg of the loop will be the last, and thus the moment when we'll know the winner of this first stage.

2/ Monday March 10, 2025 - Montesson > Bellegarde - 183.9 km

The second stage of Paris-Nice 2025 starts north-west of Paris, in Montesson, and heads towards the previous day's stage, which it joins in Neauphle-le-Vieux, before following the same route to Bazoches-sur-Guyonnes and Les Mesnuls, where this time the Côte des Mesnuls will count towards the best climber classification (3rd category, 1.2 km at 5.7%). Then it's off to Le Perray-en-Yvelines, where it started and finished the day before.

It then heads for La Celle-les-Bordes and the Côte de La Villeneuve (3rd category, 1 km at 5%) and Clairefontaine-en-Yvelines, then via Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines and Dourdan to Angerville and Pithiviers for the stage's final circuit, which will be completed twice. The first passage will be an intermediate sprint, and the second will be the finish line at Bellegarde, where victory will be decided.

4/ Wednesday, March 12, 2025 - Vichy > La Loge des Gardes - 163.4 km

Stage 4 of Paris-Nice 2025 is the first to reach altitudes of over 1,000 meters, and it's not long after the start from Vichy that the race profile begins to climb. The route of this stage is surprising insofar as it takes place back and forth over a fairly restricted area.

First, the riders head south-west through Cusset, Ferrières-sur-Sichon and La Guillermie towards the Côte de Lavoine (3rd category, 7.6 km at 4.1%) before heading north-east again through Ferrières-sur-Sichon and Le Mayet-de-Montagne, then back to Cusset on the start side. They then head east, passing through Côte de la Bruyère (3rd category, 3.9 km at 4.8%) and Le Breuil before turning right and tackling two further difficulties, Côte de la Croix Bruyère (3rd category, 3.2 km at 5%) and Côte du Canon (2nd category, 3.5 km at 6.7%). Shortly afterwards, they head towards Châtel-Montagne and back to Le Mayet-de-Montagne, where this time they contest an intermediate sprint.

Via Saint-Clément and La Chabanne, they then reach the Côte de la Chabanne (3rd category, 2.7 km at 5.3%), before climbing to the finish line at La Loge des Gardes, the first 1st category difficulty of Paris-Nice 2025 (6.7 km at 7.1%), at an altitude of 1,077 meters.

5/ Thursday, March 13, 2025 - Saint-Just-en-Chevalet > La Côte Saint-André - 203.3 km

Stage 5 of Paris-Nice 2025 will be a slightly milder stage once again, in that it contains no major difficulties ... on the other hand, it does contain several smaller ones! Starting from Saint-Just-en-Chevalet, the riders pass through Cremeaux and quickly reach the Côte de Saint-Polgues (3rd category, 1.5 km at 5.5%). They then head via Balbigny and Bellegarde-en-Forez towards Chazelles-sur-Lyon and Saint-Symphorien-sur-Coise, then Sainte-Catherine and Chabanière towards Côte de Trèves (3rd category, 2.3 km at 6%). They then continue their descent southwards, bypassing Vienne and Lyon to head for a series of 4 3rd-category difficulties, before the final 2nd-category climb.

These include Côte du Château Jaune (3rd category, 1.2 km at 9.2%), Côte de Sibuze (3rd category, 1.1 km at 8.2%), Côte de Chavagneux (3rd category, 1.1 km at 8.6%) and Côte d'Arzay (3rd category, 1.3 km at 8%) and after the sprint at Porte de Bonnevaux, the riders then head for the finish at La Côte Saint-André, a final climb of 2nd category (1.7 km at 11.1%).

After a long stage the day before already, the 6th stage on Friday March 14 will be the longest stage of Paris-Nice 2025, covering 209.8 kilometers from Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban.

The stage heads south, passing west of Montélimar to Bourg-Saint-Andéol, Pont-Saint-Esprit, Bagnols-sur-Cèze and Connaux, before arriving on the Côte de Pouzilhac (3rd category, 1,8 km at 5%), then skirting the town of Avignon in the distance, heading for the Côte des Baux-de-Provence (3rd category, 2.5 km at 5.1%) and the Côte de Mouriès (3rd category, 1.2 km at 5%), then on to Eyguières and around Salon-de-Provence, before heading south towards the sea.

7/ Saturday, March 15, 2025 - Nice > Auron - 147.8 km

The 7th stage of Paris-Nice 2025 resembles the one initially planned for Paris-Nice 2024 ... before being amputated from its last part and modified to arrive at La Madone d'Utelle because of the snow on the final climb to the resort of Auron!

This time we'll try again the experience of this stage starting from Nice. Added to this stage is the Côte d'Aspremont (2nd category, 9 km at 5%) before heading via Duranus and Lantosque to Roquebillière, where the riders seek out the Côte de Belvédère (2nd category, 3.3 km at 5.7%). Via the climb of La Colmiane (1st category, 7.5 km at 7.1%), Valdeblore, Saint-Sauveur-sur-Tinée, they then head for the intermediate sprint ofIsola, and then climb even higher, towards the finish line at the resort of Auron (1st category, 7.3 km at 7.2%).

8/ Sunday, March 16, 2025 - Nice > Nice - 119.9 km

The 8th and final stage of Paris-Nice 2025 will start and finish in Nice, as has become customary in recent years. The first part of the stage is identical to the previous day's, apart from the extension needed to get to the Côte d'Aspremont, so the riders head for Lantosque via Saint-Martin-du-Var and Duranus, where they almost turn around to get to the Col de Porte climb (1st category, 7 km at 7.2%).

Via Lucéram, L'Escarène and La Grave de Peille, the riders arrive on the Côte de Peille climb (1st category, 6.5 km at 6.9%) before descending via Saint-Martin-de-Peille and La Turbie to Èze and the intermediate sprint at the summit of the Col d'Èze. They then descend to Nice before climbing a short local circuit to the Col des Quatre Chemins (1st category, 3.6 km at 8.8%). They then descend again, this time to head for Nice and its famous Promenade des Anglais, where this 83rd edition of Paris-Nice will finish!
