Following the Flemish classics and the transition marked by the Amstel Gold Race this weekend, it’s now time for the Ardennes classics, and this Wednesday it’s the turn of the 2026 Flèche Wallonne — already the 90th edition of this classic - which concludes with its famous Mur d’Huy. Its route changes from year to year, and the only part resembling last year’s course is the final circuit, which remains unchanged. A total distance of exactly 200 kilometers awaits the 175 riders who will line up at the start for 25 different teams.
In this post, you’ll find all the details of the 2026 Flèche Wallonne route on an OpenStreetMap map, which can also be downloaded in Google Earth, the race profile, the schedule, and the list of riders competing in the 2026 Flèche Wallonne.

The 2026 Flèche Wallonne route on an OpenStreetMap
After the start in Herstal (the 18th different starting city in the race’s history), in the suburbs of Liège and from Place Jean Jaurès, with the actual start 7.8 km further on, the riders first head south toward the Côte de Trasenter and then, a little further on, the Côte des Forges. By then, they will already be heading southwest to pass through Ouffet and Hamoir before turning back toward the northwest. Shortly after Modave, they arrive at Pont de Bonne to enter the final circuit. They make a quick right/left turn to first tackle the Côte d’Ereffe (2.1 km at 5%) and then head toward Huy, but with a small detour to tackle the Côte de Cherave (1.3 km at 8.1%) before returning once again toward Huy and facing the dreaded Mur de Huy (1.3 km at 9.6%). Via Stréez-les-Huy and Pont de Bonne, they then return to the starting point of this final circuit.
After the first crossing of the finish line, they will complete this same circuit two more times. On the third climb to the summit of the Mur de Huy, they will battle for victory in the 2026 Flèche Wallonne, and we will then know the successor to Tadej Pogačar.

The 2026 Flèche Wallonne start list
The defending champion of the Flèche Wallonne, Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), will not be at the start of the 2026 edition, but there will be several contenders for the victory.Paul Seixas (Decathlon CMA CGM Team) says he is coming to the race more to test himself than to win it, and names Kévin Vauquelin (INEOS Grenadiers) as a contender for the victory. At Lidl-Trek, we find Mattias Skjelmose, who finished second in the Amstel Gold Race this Sunday and who took the same spot at the Flèche Wallonne in 2023. Tobias Johannessen, who will be racing for the Uno-X Mobility team, is also considered a contender for the win, as are several French riders alongside Seixas and Vauquelin.
