Maybe you remember the 21st team of the Tour de France which discoverede the Tour last year? That was the Team Vittel which was new in the Tour but still had the idea to win it.
This year the Team Vittel will again be in the Tour de France 2009, still with the same goal (to win the Tour) and - just like any big professional cycling team - the team will open its web site which is presented as a blog for the Tour de France 2009!

The Team Vittel
You cheered on them massively last year on the side of the road and you have elected it as one of your favorite teams ...After the big success in 2008, the Team Vittel will be back this year!!
With their « eauptisme », these riders - not quite like the others - will come back this year with a new rider who might well become the most popular one: Maria Del Velo (photo)!
This beautiful brasilian girl will be doing everything she can to become the first girl to win the biggest cycling event in the world!! Her only goal is to get to wear the yellow jersey at the final finish at the Champs Elysées on 26 July.
Coached by the irreplacable Vincent Barteau (photo), a team of 5 riders will be at the start of the Tour de France 2009 in Monaco and from that moment on they count on your support on the side of the road and on their website!!
And if you're on the side of the road and you are very luck, you might be able to get a kiss from Maria Del Velo?!
The blog and the blogger behind it
You might have understood ... after having shown you the ins and outs of the Tour de France for Orange in the past 2 years, I'll take you by the hand to let you discover the life of the team on Team Vittel's blog.On this blog you'll be able to discover the afventures of the 5 riders: Marc Dumailleau (la Flèche des Ardennes), Remy Ancelle (le Vétéran), Thierry Roublard (alias P'tit Filou), Bernard Laplume (dit le Pouète) en voor het eerst in de geschiedenis van de Tour ... de allereerste vrouw in de Tour de France: Maria Del Velo (la Petite Reine), the Brasilian girl whose only goal is to get the yellow jersay at the finish on the Champs Elysées in Paris!
The team, coached by the former professional cyclist Vincent Barteau (who won 2 stages of the Tour de France on his own, in 1984 and 1989, and a team trial in 1989) will be present in the Tour de France from the start next Saturday in Monaco and until the finisyh on the Champs Elysées in Paris on Sunday 26 july 2009.
The blog will very soon open its virtual doors ... in the mean time you'll find a page which presents the team. And to make sure you won't miss out on the start with the Team Vittel, you can subscribe to the site's newsletter!

we were lucky enough to be at the tour de france on the final day on 26 July on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, your vittel team actually took a photo of us just near the 1 kilometer to go marker prior to the riders entering. we have just returned from our holiday and i'd like to know if this picture is on any of your web sites or available to us?? the picture would have a few aussies standing behind an aussie flag.

Nous possédons la 404 Vittel de 2008, nous en sommes très heureux et très fiers. Nous recherchons 2 maillots vittel et 2 casquettes, car nous allons participer à un concours d'élégance avec cette voiture.
