1/ Sunday 10 March 2019 - Saint-Germain-en-Laye > Saint-Germain-en-Laye - 138.5 km
As usual since 2010 now, Paris-Nice 2019 will start in the Yvelines department, and more precisely in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The finish will be in the same city, but the total distance of this stage will be 138.5 kilometers anyway, following a race route which completely takes place in the Yvelines department. In Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the finish will most probably - as often in the first stage of Paris-Nice - end in a bunch sprint and it thus is most probable that the first rider to wear the yellow jersey will be a sprinter.
This stage is pretty much a flat stage but it will however contain two small climbs, early in the stage the Côte de Beynes, which summit will be reached after 20.5 kilometers, and the Côte de Beule at 27.5 kilometers from the finish, both of the 3rd category. The riders will also find two intermediate sprints on their route, in the last part of the stage, in Les Flambertins and in Saint-Germain-en-Laye at only 3 kilometers from the finish in this same city.

2/ Monday 11 March 2019 - Les Bréviaires > Bellegarde - 163.5 km
Still in the Yvelines, the start of the second stage will take place in Les Bréviaires. The riders will continue their trip in the Yvelines by doing some back and forth up to the Côte de Senlisse of the 3rd category and they'll find another climb, the Côte des Granges-le-Roi, also of the 3rd category, on their road, just after they entered the Essonne department. The rest of the stage will take place on pretty flat roads, down to the finish in Bellegarde, 163.5 after the start of the stage. After the sprint mid-stage in Méréville they'll find a second intermediate sprint at the first crossing of the finish line, because the stage ends with a short triangle circuit around the finish city.Hereunder you'll find the time- and route schedule, the stage profile and the Open Street Maps view of the race route of the 2nd stage of Paris-Nice 2019. 3/ Tuesday 12 March 2019 - Cepoy > Moulins (Yzeure) - 200 km
The 3rd stage will start north of the city Montargis, in Cepoy. It'll be a stage without any real difficulties, with only an intermediate sprint early (after 24.5 km) in the stage in Châtillon-Coligny and at the very end of it (at 18 km from the finish), in Bagneux, before the finish in Moulins (Yzeure).Hereunder you'll find the time- and route schedule, the stage profile and the Open Street Maps view of the race route of the 3rd stage of Paris-Nice 2019. 4/ Wednesday 13 March 2019 - Vichy > Pélussin - 212 km
After a short transfer after the finish the day before, the riders will start the 4th stage of Paris-Nice 2019 in Vichy. We will probably see the first battles between the favourite riders of the race in this stage because it'll be the first one which really contains some more serious climbs, all along the stage. It'll start rather quickly with the Côte de Cheval-Rigon (3rd category) of which the summit will be reached after only 18.5 kilometers. After the intermediate sprint in Saint-Priest-la-Prugne and the feeding zone in Salt-en-Donzy, the final part of the stage will give some show because it contains no less than 4 difficulties over a distance of about fifty kilometers.
South of Givors we'll first find the Côte de Trèves (2nd category) and close to the Rhône, after Condrieu, the riders will get on a track which was drawn to make the final part of this stage difficult. They'll thus climb the Côte de Condrieu which is a 1st category climb not because of its length (1.9 km) but more for its average steepness of 8.5% before they get back close to the Rhône river in order to climb the Côte de Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône (2nd category), just before they get on the final circuit.
Direction west and south to cross the finish line for the first time in Pélussin before they'll continue north to get on the very last climb of the day, the Côte de Chavanay of the 2nd category.

5/ Thursday 14 March 2019 - Barbentane > Barbentane - individual time trial - 25.5 km
After a long transfer towards the Bouches-du-Rhône department, the only individual time trial of Paris-Nice 2019 will take place in and around Barbentane, over a distance of 25.5 km with one hill early in the second part of this solitary effort.Hereunder you'll find the time- and route schedule, the stage profile and the Open Street Maps view of the race route of the 5th stage of Paris-Nice 2019. 6/ Friday 15 March 2019 - Peynier > Brignoles - 176,5 km
The 6th stage will also start in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, in Peynier, but very quickly, the riders will get in the Var department which they won't leave anymore during that stage.Even though the first half of the stage shows quite a flat profile, it gets more complicated after the feeding zone in Tourves. Indeed, rather quickly in the second half of the stage, the riders will get on two succeeding climbs, the Côte de la Sainte-Baume (2nd category) and the Côte de Mazaugues (3rd category) before the intermediate sprint on top of the Col de la Bigue. At 17 kilometers from the finish, the summit of the Côte de Sainte-Philomène (2nd category) will be the last difficulty of this stage. After the intermediate sprint in Camps-la-Source there will only be 4 kilometers left towards the finish in Brignoles. Quite a ride to end up at only about fourty kilometers from the start in Peynier ...

7/ Saturday 16 March 2019 - Nice > Col de Turini - La Bollène-Vésubie - 181.5 km
The Saturday stage, the 7th of this Paris-Nice 2019, is the race's queen stage, starting in Nice. In this stage we'll see no less than 5 difficulties (of which 3 of the 2nd, one of the 3rd and one of 1st category) but also the final climb, also of the 1st category, of the Col de Turini. This is a climb of 14.9 km at 7.3% which has never before on the Paris-Nice race route, even though it has been climbed three times already during the Tour de France.Hereunder you'll find the time- and route schedule, the stage profile and the Open Street Maps view of the race route of the 7th stage of Paris-Nice 2019. 8/ Sunday 17 March 2019 - Nice > Nice - 110 km
As usual these past few years, the last stage of Paris-Nice 2019 is a short stage, of only 110 kilometers, starting and finishing in Nice. This is, by the way, exactly the same stage as last year. It'll completely take place in the backyard of Nice, which is known to be quite hilly and that's what we see in the profile of this stage.Indeed, there will be no less than 6 difficulties on the programme of this stage during its 110 kilometers! The first one will be the Côte de Levens (2nd category, 6.2 km at 5.6%). After the sprint in Levens, they'll continu towards the Côte de Châteauneuf (2nd category, 5.3 km at 4.3%), the Col de Calaïson (2nd category, 6.3 km at 4.5%) and the Côte de Peille (1st category, 6.6 km at 6.8%).
After having started the descent towards the coast, the riders will battly for the final intermediate sprint of Paris-Nice 2019 in La Turbie before they go on with the climb of the Col d'Eze (1st category, 1.6 km at 8.1%) and the circuit around the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur which ends with the climb of the Col des Quatre Chemins (2nd category, 5.5 km at 5.5%). And they're then off towards Nice where the race will, as usual, end on the Promenade des Anglais!
