It's about time ... the eagerly-awaited Tour of Flanders 2025 will finally be here this Sunday! After A travers la Flandre/Dwars door Vlaanderen on Wednesday, marked by an unexpected finale in which Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost) surprised Team Visma | Lease a Bike with its trio of Wout van Aert, Tiesj Benoot and Matteo Jorgenson, who had all the cards in their hands to play a winning strategy against the solo man in pink ... but were fooled in the sprint, it's already time for the Belgian classic which is somehow the high point of the Belgian classics season, the great mass (hoogmis), the Tour of Flanders 2025 (Ronde van Vlaanderen).
The 2025 edition of "Flanders cutest" (Vlaanderen's mooiste) - another of the Tour of Flanders' nicknames - features a course of 268.9 kilometers, with 16 climbs and several cobbled sectors (the majority of which are climbs, by the way), between Bruges (Brugge) and Oudenaarde. In this article, you'll find details of the route of the 2025 Tour of Flanders, on an OpenStreetMap map which is also available for download in Google Earth, the race profile, the hourly itinerary, and the list of starters in the Belgian race!

The Tour of Flanders 2025 route on an OpenStreetMap map
The start of the Tour of Flanders 2025 will be given from the Market Square (Grote Markt) in Bruges (Brugge), and once out of the city, the riders will take the actual start of the race after 8.6 kilometers of parade route. After passing through Beernem, Aalter, Tielt, Waregem and Deinze, the first cobbled streets come into view. The first of these is the Doorn sector (1650 m), before passing through Oudenaarde, very close to the finish line. They then go straight on the N8 before turning left to head for Quaremont (Kwaremont) and the first of the 16 hills, the largely cobbled Vieux Quaremont (Oude Kwaremont), which they will encounter twice more. They then pass for the first time through the Ronde van Vlaanderenstraat, the street which owes its name to the race, and then head north through Nukerke and turn east to pass Etikhove and pick up the second climb, the entirely cobbled Eikenberg. The mountains and cobbles then follow, with the Wolvenberg, the cobbles of the Holleweg (1100 m), the Karel Martelstraat (1200 m), the Jagerij (800 m), then the Molenberg, partly cobbled. The burgundy-red section begins with the Berendries and Valkenberg climbs, before passing through Zegelsem and Schorisse, and finding the cobbled Berg Ten Houte climb (1100 m). After a quick passage through Ronse, they find the Nieuwe Kruisberg/Hotond climb. A further passage through the Ronde van Vlaanderenstraat brings them back to Quaremont, and by retracing their steps along the parallel path, they climb the Vieux Quaremont (Oude Kwaremont) again, before continuing on to the first cobbled ascent of the Paterberg.
They then head for the Koppenberg, entirely cobbled, followed by the cobbled sectors of Mariaborrestraat and Steenbeekdries (400 and 1100 m), the latter being the 12th climb of the race, followed by the Taaienberg, also largely cobbled. They then finish the red part of the race and find themselves on a final short loop towards the finish. This will take them through Ronse again, this time taking the Old Street (Oudestraat) for the Oude Kruisberg / Hotond climb, before heading back to the Ronde van Vlaanderenstraat and on to the Old Quaremont (Oude Kwaremont), again followed by the Paterberg. Just after this climb (16th and final climb of the race), they then turn left towards Berchem and Kerkhove before heading for the finish in the Minderbroedersstraat in Oudenaarde.
