After the Etoile de Bessèges, which was a little further northwest, the Tour de la Provence is again closer to Marseille, where the Grand Prix Cycliste de Marseille La Marseillaise took place.

The 3-day race will take in one of the latter's outstanding difficulties, the Col de l'Espigoulier, on its first stage, here on its most difficult side from Gémenos. In this article, you'll find the detailed routes of the 3 stages, the hourly itineraries and the profiles of the different stages of the Tour de la Provence 2025.

1/ Friday February 14, 2025 - Marseille > Saint-Victoret - 169.3 km

The first stage starts from Marseille and heads for Cassis, then Roquefort-la-Bedoule and Gémenos, where the ascent of the Col de l'Espigoulier begins. They then head east, passing through Plan-d'Aups-Sainte-Baume before turning north again to begin a small loop via Nans-les-Pins, Rougiers and Mazaugues, where they will find the second difficulty of the day on the way back to the starting point of this loop.

They then follow the same route in the opposite direction via Plan-d'Aups-Sainte-Baume before turning north a little further on to pick up the difficulty at Belcodène. Via Gréasque and Gardanne, they arrive at the Bouc-Bel-Air sprint and head via Les Pennes-Mirabeau to the finish in Saint Victoret, a suburb of Marignane.

2/ Saturday, February 15, 2025 - Forcalquier > Manosque - 167.3 km

The weekend of the Tour de la Provence 2025 begins with the start of stage 2 in Forcalquier, and from there, a route has been mapped out that will twist and turn with round-trips via Sigonce, Fontienne, the intermediate sprint at Saint-Etienne-les-Orgues and the ascent of the Col de Buire before returning via Limars and Mane and then setting off again via Saint-Michel-l'Observatoire, Revest-des-Brousses and Banon.

They then pull away a little further, passing through Simiane-la-Rotonde and the Col de Viens climb, then the more difficult Col de l'Aire dei Masco (the only 1st category pass in the race). The sprint to La Bastide-des-Jourdans is then contested, before the finish in Manosque.

3/ Sunday, February 16, 2025 - Rognac > Arles - 190.6 km

This Sunday, stage 3 will be the longest stage of the Tour de la Provence 2025, covering 190.6 kilometers from Rognac. Its route is unusual in that, although it starts in a straight line following a logical route through La Fare-les-Oliviers, Saint-Cramas, Mouriès and Maussane-les-Alpilles, the riders then head very quickly through Les Baux-de-Provence, the Col de la Vayede and Fontvieille towards the finish in Arles, where they contest the first intermediate sprint of this stage.

They then cross the Rhône and follow it along the other side to the tip near Salin-de-Giraud. They then go back up on the seaward / ponds side (Etang du Galabert and Etang de Vaccarès) to finally follow the same route as on the outward journey back to Arles. No crossing of the finish line this time, as they then follow the opposite bank of the Rhône to Mas Thibert, where they go back up again, heading for the Moulès sprint. Back to Arles, where this time the stage finish awaits them!
