Astana Pro Team
For the Astana Pro Team the participation in Paris-Nice 2015 seemed to be unsure when the UCI announced late February that after the audit by the Institut des Sciences du Sport de l'Université de Lausanne (ISSUL) on the team and its culture, its stratégie, its structures and its anti-doping management systems, the international federation asked the Licence Committee to withdraw the UCI WorldTeam licence which was rewarded in December under the condition to collaborate in this audit. Indeed this was meant to verify the correspondence between the strategy and the structure the team presented to the Licence Committee to get "saved by the bell" after the different doping cases in the team and its Continental counterpart team at the end of 2014 and the real situation in the team. The audit showed big differences between the theory and the reality and this made the UCI ask to withdraw the licence. However, for now there hasn't been any decision taken and the Kazakh team can thus continue to use the benefits of its UCI WorldTeam licence to participate in UCI WorldTour races.
